What is the number of too many quilts being displayed? I have 3 in my living room, one on couch and one on a couple of chairs. I also have a couple of pillows I made. What your relative said was just plain rude! It smacks of the ugly head of jealousy.
I agree! The relative either suffers from quilt envy and shared it in an inappropriate way, or else the relative is a quilt hater who doesn't appreciate the beauty, skill and creativity displayed through your quilts. If the relative has quilt envy, there is still hope that they love the beauty and comfort your quilts create. If the relative is a quilt hater, then he or she doesn't "get" it, and likely never will.
