Welcome! Go to the library and get a couple books. Browse thru. Look for a simple pattern and start there.You will learn alot here on the board too. Everyone shows wonderful projects and you will get ideas from that. But don't worry it will fall in place. I started the same way. I started with strips. cut and sew cut and sew.
