I love them, have done massive canning and cooking in both mine. I also would never move from stove to sink to relieve pressure. could be very dangerous... Important is stay close get pressure regulated and have tender beef for been stew in 20 min. I've never had a problem... CAN't over fill and should not use pepper... pepper can actully clog vent ....
