It's kind of funny to hear him try to describe it, but he seems impressed. He says there are "stitches like on a baseball". I assume feather stitches. Okay, I'm back, and here is the picture of the wonderful Wedding Ring doll quilt from KWhite, which I love. I guess the curved lines are what reminded DH of a baseball, though it would surely be the last thing I'd think of looking at this. The fabric is actually a whole pillow panel, if I have my terminology right, with two squares and some trim designs. It's very pretty, and I'll definitely find a use for it - NOT as a dish towel!
