Very nice rug, we braided wire hangers but I have never made a rug, were your hands sore or raw?

They are really fun to make and yes I did use the tool they said to use. You can use a cut toothbrush if it has a hole in the end or even a large safety pin with a hole. Try it. - just remember to not make your stitches too tight so it lays flat.
