You are right, dyeing fabric is easy and fun and does get you a palet of fabric that cannot be bought. I love the cram and jam way of dying too. I sometimes over dye but have never tried denim...I have a big tub of jeans ready for recyling so I will give this a try. It also makes me think that still wearable favorite just a little faded jeans might get a facelift with this method too. Oh and with a a matching teeshirt or zippy up hoodie...how fun.
