I know from one of my older blankets that my grandma made for me, she used a wool blanket inside it and maybe something else, it is quite heavy. I don't know where you could find one nowadays. azdesertrat mentioned looking for one at an Army Surplus store. I know I don't have any thing like that around me. Good luck!
