As a farmers wife, the price of seed corn has gone out of sight-hense production return has increased, but the corn isn't going for feed-it's going for the demand for fuel and to "developing" countries.............even though we get nothing to ship animals for beef-you are paying at the market. We are losing both ways here.................maybe you should look locally for a co-op to help supply your food needs, or a local farmer............they are struggling to stay in business.
