I about fell over when I saw your pictures! My friend and I were in Wilson's quilt shop in Hagerstown MD last Sat., and they were making a quilt with this embroidery pattern. The narrow rectangles were repeated and used as a border - the larger square was added to three others to make a very large square. Those were pieced together to make a lap quilt..........with the rectangles added around the perimeter. It was SPECTACULAR! Needles to say, we bought the embroidery design. NICE WORK and I really like the colors you selected!
