Aunt Martha's transfers come to mind. They range from very simple to simply beautiful. When you google Aunt Martha's transfers, there are several sites for them, including ebay. As for the preprinted blocks, I haven't seen them in any stores for a while now, but, I'm sure someone sells them. Another solution, depending on what pattern you are looking for, is google free colouring pages and trace it onto fabric. This is what I did for the Sunbonnet Sue I am currently embroiderying.
