I would like a wider border than the 3 inch paper would make. I think you could use old telephone book paper, newspaper or whatever and just glue stick the pieces together when you came to the end of one piece. It would probably be easier to tear off than the adding machine paper also. If you cut your newspaper the long way the strips would add up fast.
