He's a scrappy kind of guy so I thought this scrappy quilt would suit him. It's to be a large lap throw (twin size-ish) as he's a tall guy.
So I'm finally making the strips today using a dark denim to pull it all together...and it's just not working for me. It seems way too busy and loud to me. Is it as bad as it seems? I just don't know what to do. I can't imagine tearing it all apart but I don't know if it's going to get any better as I sew in the rest of the denim strips.
Any ideas?
You may think this is odd but the floor background made me think you can do the rest of the blocks with a white print sashing. I think it would make an interesting quilt.
