My mom has Sears Franklin treadle machine. She's had it for years, my step-grandmother gave it to her. She hasn't used it in a few years because she said it was hard to find parts for it. She says the bobbin (bullet shaped) is probably worn out and probably needs to be serviced too, because she's not able to adjust the stitching. It is a good sturdy machine from what I remember!
