I went to our local post office today to check my P.O. Box. (I use a P.O. Box as well as my home address). I had a card in my P.O.B that said I had a package but it was too big to put in the box. By now, the employees know me by name. The employee retrived my package. It was fabric, imagine that. So he says, "do you sew?" I said "yes, I have just learned to make quilts last fall". He said "really, I didn't think anyone did that anymore". What, are you kidding me?? All I could think was, it is partially us quilters doing swaps, ordering fabric on line and etc. that helps keep the post office in business. What a silly postman.
