Heres my solution~~~I buy the shower/conditioning caps at the dollar store or stores like Dollar General for about 1.25 per box or bag. You usually get 10 for that price and they will stretch over a 13x9 pan without a problem and will often time fit over a platter of meats or veges for your next party. Whenever I find them I buy several packages at a time. Its an inexpensive way to have coverage and I find they actually work better than the name brand ones.

If you want to be real frugal they can be washed and reused-I dont do this very often-it seems I am always covering something like a platter of BBQ that will always find its way to the elastic part of cover

Give it a try and let me know what you think!!
OH heck...you are pure genious....and me a hair dresser who is at the supply store monthly to stock up....carp....
and I just said to my sister...why is it I only use the two larger size and never the little sizes on these covers...

I was going to buy some thing plastic table covering and make some with draw strings...but I love your idea better...
