We had done really good about resisting taking a puppy and had a million reasons not to take one. But we really miss having a dog. Our last dog, Sassy, passed away 3 years ago. So, with only 2 puppies left, the male puppy that DH has wanted since he first saw them, one came to live with us tonight.
Youngest DD could not believe it when her Daddy told her she could have the puppy. She brought it straight into the house, bathed it and wrapped it in a warm quilt I made and gave her to use. Of course, both grandbabies went nuts over the puppy. Thankfully, it is not a tiny puppy.
Here is Beau, short for Beauregard.
Your Beau is very cute. I hope you have better luck with your shepherd/lab mix than I did. The mix is one of the hardest to train. Not putting a damper on your wonderful puppy, but just to give you a heads up.
