Greetings Tilladare, yes she is a beauty !!!!! Singer is the only machine that has never changed their needles. Doesn't matter what year the machine was made, if you buy Singer machine needles they will fit. Singer is the only machine that has 3 different sizes of shanks for feet. There is a short shank, a long shank, and a slant shank. Our shop carries needles, and various bobbins. The serial number for your machine should be on the bottom of your machine. Singer has a serial number search site, and you should be able to track where your machine was made, and a decade that it was made, and most importantly, a model number, and then you can find out which bobbin it needs. I think the bobbins are fairly common. And most importantly, you need to name your new little girl. The older machines had their serial numbers on the bottom, but it looks like yours is right on the front, right under neath the gold button underneath your reverse lever. And yes most of the new bobbins will fit your machine, but check with your local repair shop. Greetings, and welcome to the new addition to your family. From Auntie B, from starting to thaw, Saskatchewan, Canada. P.S. I have daylillies up 3" on the south side of the house. WTH, that's just crazy for the middle of March !!!!!!!!!
