Thank you. As far as the rewiring I don't have a DH to do it and didn't feel like paying someone big money to do it. I just took digital pictures, drew diagrams and made notes. It took me longer to do it but the satisfaction that I could do it is worth it.

The cords were all rotted and the handwheel wouldn't move by hand at all. The spring on the slide plate was broken and the bobbin winder housing was broken in two. I found replacements on Ebay and Bonanza.
