Can you upload a picture of the area you're having trouble with? Most of the Nustyle machines I've seen are really Juki's so someone familiar with Juki should be able to help & most machines are threaded similarly anyway so I'm sure we can figure it out.
Here is a picture of what I believe is the trouble spot and then a poor quality picture of the instruction book. I am going to try to work with the tenson screw and see if this helps too.
