Hi all, I'm techno-challenged (my DH says I'm a "toron"... unfortunately, it's true, so if there's no picture, well, there just won't be a picture) sigh....

ANYWAY, I spent Friday and Saturday cutting my years-long collection of old denim jeans, skirts, shirts, etc., (after culling the nicer things and giving them away). The result is displayed on the dining room table. I hope it appears, but if it doesn't the final tally is: 29 pieces of khaki, 21 pieces black, the blues are 16 light, 31 medium, and 40 dark. There are 38 intact pockets and 9 entire tops of jeans or skirts to be made into bags, and a fairly substantial pile of "crumbs." Some pieces are as large as the entire leg with one seam opened; others are just the front or back. There are sleeves, backs and bodices, skirts fronts and backs. I figured conservatively (according to my quilting friend) that if the average amount of each flat piece is 1/3 yard and I have 137 flat pieces, there is about 46 yards of material here.
In other words, I've got my work cut out for me... no pun intended!!

sorry its sideways... sigh
