I have loosened the needle, the foot, taken the bobbin out. But still have the problem. Do I have to cut off the corner of the quilt to get it out????? Thanks for any info you can give me. KK
It also squeals when I sew - is there a belt inside that needs to be replaced??
Loosen the needle and use pliers to work the needle up and down. If that doesn't work break the needle with the pliers and then after you get the fabric out of the machine, take the needle pieces out. Be careful if you do it so a piece of needle doesn't go flying. There could also be a thread jam under the needle plate, if you can see it, cut the threads off first before working the needle up and down.
