Do you think I should sign it??
Of course you should sign it. I always label my quilts. I date them, list town they were made in, who they are for, the date they were made and unless I use a particular pattern that someone else has designed, I always list mine as created and designed by and my name. Down the road someone will want to know who made the quilt and it will be there for everyone to see.
I label and sign mine, not just so everyone will know I made it, but I feel like I need to advertise my work, just like Calvin Kline, Bob Mackey, Ralph Lauren or whoever. They always label their work and it is their trademark, so we should do the same with our work.
