OMG! I LOVE stale peeps! I grew up in Colorado where my mother and I would stock up on peeps and chocolate marshmallow bunnies, punch holes in the packages and leave them 'til they were rock hard! I was very disappointed when I moved to Virginia where, with the humidity, nothing would stale crunchy! My mother tried to send me some crunchy ones from Colorado one time but unfortunately Virginia's humidity reincarnated them!
It's hard to get used to after CO , isn't it? 30 Yrs. of dry. I am so cold here in WV in the winter that I just freeze all winter long, the cold goes right to the bone marrow.
