GREAT JOB on the piecing!!
Thanks! The dark blue denim-like material was much more stretchy than I anticipated and proved quite a challenge. I'm pleased that I was able to get things lined up as well as I did. Then trying to keep the plaids and stripes straight...whew! There are a couple of dark blues that I've seen that "read" like the sashing. Only thing the one I really like is a subtle floral...being that this is so "manly" a quilt, would that work? The other that I could consider is a TINY blue/dark blue check. (And is one of the materials in the quilt already). I wouldn't usually think about using a check for the border...but since it's 2 shades of dk. blue and it's so very tiny...I think it would still be okay. Any thoughts?
