Oh my Gosh.. You must be my twin.. LOl I did the exact same thing 2 weeks ago. It happened so fast I didnt even realize at first I cut the whole side of my index finger off. It was from the top of my finger all the way to the bottom of my nail. It was hanging by a small piece of skin.. I thought I was gonna pass out.. Anyway I cleaned it and put strips on it hoping it would reattach because I really didnt want to go get stiches. Anyway about a week later the whole side fell off when I was changing the bandage. It is still deformed but doesnt hurt anymore. I really leaned my lesson the hard way. Now I know why they always wear a glove on Fons and Porter Love of Quilting. They are alot smarter than me.
Happy Healing..
