I did it in reverse, made a quilt top (except I serged my seams and also reinforced with seam tape as I went) and used it for a cloth shower curtain with a separate liner. I couldn't find what I liked in the stores, it came out great and I'm still using it gosh, 7 or 8 yrs later!
I have a shower curtain tha tlooks like a quilt top - every night I stare at it trying to figure out how I can make a quilt that matches....
I was online looking for a new shower curtain for the kids bathroom and saw this and just fell in love with the pattern and colors...I think I'm going to buy it - if it doesn't work - Material isn't right or something I can always hang it in the kids bath!
