Melinda, I have had quilt camps here several times for my granddaughters. I started when the youngest one was 5. We laugh and sew, and Grandpa had to learn how to thread the machines with broken thread when they forgot to hold the tail threads. Grandma was so busy going from one to the other to help -- besides, I had to do all the cutting and measuring. I've also had sewing days with the boys too making placemats, totes, book covers etc. The kids love it. Everyone of my grandkids can sew.

And yes, Monica, we have made several pillow cases and done reverse applique' pillows!
