OBW = One Block Wonder. It's the way the fabric is cut so that you get six identical triangles that you put together to make a kaleidoscope. Each block is a kaleidoscope, although you don't sew them together as a complete block when you're constructing the quilt top. You make strips of half kaleidoscopes which makes it easier to sew together. Ok, now I'm sounding confusing :| If you do a search for a tutorial by Cutebuns on this board she explains it well.
