Singer never put anyone elses name on their machines. Issac Singer was a proud man and built one hell of an empire. I am thinking National or Eldredge myself. I like it, and it looks very nice but I doubt it was made for the Red Cross.

Billy, I know you're the expert but I had thought Singer made many badged machines during the war or some other time frame. I am very interested in learning what you think/know. Obviously you believe Singer didn't make this one but from some of my research I have read (I thought) that Singer did badged machines for various stores that wanted their particular name on their machines. Any information that you can provide would be greatly appreciated as I know you know your machines so much more than I do. Thanks in advance for your help/precious time in your helping me understanding this.
