1 stick of margarine (or butter) = 8 tablespoons or 1/2 cup
Most margarine sticks come packaged 4 to a box (1 pound).
Butter usually is packaged the same way, except the last time I purchased butter, it was packaged in 4-tablespoons sticks or 1/4 cup
