Good morning - I live in Liberty Hill, just west of Georgetown. I also have a friend in Buda that I used to work with.
I agree, this seems like a VERY friendly place, & I'm happy to have found it. I've already found some neat hints on here. BOY, have things changed since I quilted years ago (that was when I lived in Fredericksburg) - The long arm quilts are beauties, but still love the idea of actually still putting each stitch in by hand. Know it is VERY time consuming, but in this hectic, busy, busy world, it is soothing for me.
Still trying to learn how to use it a little better - @ 77 yrs old, sometimes not too "up" on this computer stuff.
Hope you are able to move back to TX some day.
