I got mine when it first came out and paid full price $2,999 last June.
I love, absolutely love my 7700. Wouldn't trade it for anything. I even lug it to classes because quite frankly nothing compares to that machine. I thought about getting a travel machine that weighs a lot less, but they just don't feel the same.
