Thanks everybody for the kind comments, still loving sleeping under this one  I am going to try to answer the questions in this none post here.

The pattern for this Bargello was posted by our own Barb_MO here on the board in a very easy to understand directions. I am going to put the links here for the tutorial sections in the board. You basically need 11 fabrics, 7/8 yard each (I got a yard justbin case) and cut 11 2.5" strips across the WOF from all 11 fabrics. You end up with about 88 by 77 quilt before borders, I did got more yardage for fabrics I wanted to use for the borders.

Regarding the wool batting, I used Dream Wool, it has no shrinkage and can be machine washed and dried, a bit pricey, but it is a special quilt for us. I am finding it extremly light and very soft, the medium loft gives a "comforter" feel, we are enjoying it a lot. One would think that you won't want wool in Florida, lol, but it breathes well and even with a low of 70 some, it is light and comfortable. Here is a link to their site with it's characteristics:http://www.quiltersdreambatting.com/dream-wool.htm

Hope I answered all the questions here.
