For the first time ever I ordered fabric. I always want to promote my local businesses. But 1 shop is going out of business and I couldn't get enough fabrics from the other one.
And too far a drive to Hancocks for a couple yards of fabric.
Sooo I took the plunge and ordered fabrics from Ericas Craft & Sewing Center (Indiana) I was able to call and order these fabrics so I was more comfortable than sending my credit card number into cyberspace. The fabric is quilt shop quality,
Studio E, Henry Glass, and Timeless Treasures Fabrics.
My granddaughter is 14 today (3-26) and I'm making this Black/white quilt for her for Xmas. A more grownup quilt I think.
I still plan to promote our area quilt shop but atleast I have found a great place to order quality fabrics.
In the past I have ordered embroidery bobbin thread from Ericas so I was familar with the company. My order was here in 3 days, and S&H $5.95, I had ordered 3 1/2 yards of fabric.
Heres the website, its a great place to shop.
