They would make wonderful themed individually framed items. Might I suggest a combination of pigment pens for the more vivid colored portions and dry-brush painting for the softer colors (flesh tones, etc.)?
They would keep their vintage look and you could color to coordinate with interesting borders.
And now, I'm on a quest to see if there aren't some similar items somewhere. Absolutely gorgeous and I'm green with envy.
