Have you let them use the rotary cutter yet?? My friend lets her second graders use the safety ones and no one has ever gotten hurt using it. Of course she teaches them they hows and whys of being safe and using them. Keep up the good work.
Yes they do use the rotary cutter, I alway make sure they and I feel comfortable before I let them loose on the machines or use the cutter.
One of the girls this morning said "Mrs. Debbie I think maybe you should get a new blade for the rotary cutter with all this new fabric, because we are going to be doing alot of cutting" I just laughed and told her that I would see about getting some new blades.
I LOVE my job and look forward to going to work everyday!
