Good story! Thank you for doing all that for him. We have custody of a granddaughter, now 11, we've had her since birth.

When she sees someone in uniform, man or woman, she tugs on their sleeve and says, "Thank you for keeping our country safe." She did that one day to a soldier sitting a few pews in front of us in church. He was with his parents. After church his parents ran up to my husband and I and thank US for what we were teaching her. We proptly told them it wasn't us that should be thanked, it's you and your son for what he's doing for our country.

All six of my uncles were in war, so was my brother and brothers in law and father in law. My son was a Marine in Beiruit when the barracks were blown up. We didn't know if he was alive or not for days. Thank God he was safe.

We fly our flag every single day of the year in honor of our family that served our country and in honor of all now serving our country. That is the least we can do to show our support of them. My flag will continue to fly on my home until I'm not here to replace it.

This is still the greatest country on earth. Shame of people who treat our soldiers like they do. If it weren't for our soldiers fighting for their freedom they wouldn't be free to treat our soldiers like they do.
