I've been toying with the idea of taking all of you through my studio and gallery (my house). I've often wanted to respond to others pictures of their sewing rooms and stashes. From what I've seen, my stash is a bit different. I consider myself a scrapper. I buy remnants, half yards and fat quarters. Sometimes I even buy some yardage! but not often. And scraps, of course.
I've been quilting since the early seventies. I live by the rule that if I use it all up - then I won't have it anymore. In the first picture of this tour - you can see one of only a few "planned" quilts I've ever made. I believe that variety is the spice of life.
There will be numerous installments to this post. If you like it - keep watching! As always, I appreciate your feedback.
