I want to take this summer to start learning to read in Spanish and Japanese... I start my Japanese classes in June and the next level of Spanish in Fall (level 201). Any suggestions would be wonderful! Also if you could point me in the direction of where I could find them too would be great!

Ve, Perro, Ve (Go Dog Go)
El Gato en el Sombrero (The Cat in the Hat)

I know these ones and plan on buying them soon, most of the Dr. Suess books that I like are on the list of ones to buy. Though if you know where I can get them in Japanese for inexpensive, let me know please! (Amazon is ridiculous... and Ebay was no help.)
Try www.alibris.com It is a world wide book store of private people who want to keep books out of landfills. I buy from them all the time. No hassles of any kind yet. Books start at $1.99!
