Personally, I don't buy quilting magazines any more. Their patterns aren't new and fresh and just seem to be there to sell lines of material. There is more advertising in them then quilting articles, pictures and patterns. There is so much available for free on the internet, it seems silly to me to spend money on magazine subscriptions. If I see a magazine in the store that has a pattern in it that I just have to make, then I will buy it, but no more subscriptions! Maybe I should save up all the money I'm not spending on magazines and buy the EQ7 so I can make my own patterns on my computer!
