He found in the attic a bunch of her sewing things that he believed to have been from the 70's. So I put all the blocks together and tied it. One block with the house was missing a tree, one was missing a stepping stone and they all needed to be appliqued. So I went to work and finished it for him. Obviously by looking at yours, there was more to this quilt that she never got to. Take a look.....
I know it was a very popular class at the quilt shop I took the class. I think they had offered the class for several years when I took it. I remember the instructor said people always signed up no matter how many times it was offered. It is a fun quilt and you can add personalization. I put my dogs and cat, husband and me, and my girls. Thanks for sharing your pictures. It is great that he wanted to have his mother's quilt finished.
