Gah, that is just awful :/ I had started watching Army Wives on Netflix and noticed their 'post depart' was 6 months. I've no idea if this is true to form, but 30 days when someone is grieving has to be very hard.

As for the Linus quilts, I'd go with rag also, it is fast and easy. I haven't done the D9P yet. Also some 'I Spy' would be cool for little ones.
