First let me say I have only done two quilt tops "on point" but I learned my lesson after the first one. When you cut the large triangles for all the sides PLEASE STARCH your fabric and cut them larger than required by at least a 1/2"... this way when you sew the rows together you won't lose your points and you should have enough room to square up the quilt without sacrificing the triangles.

Great tip. I'm trying to make a lap quilt, but between my DGD's quilt, my guild's Round Robin and the QG's Row Robin, it seems to be a losing battle. But as soon as I can, I'll add my sashing, cornerstones and side triangles and post the 50 I've finished. Thanks. Belles
