You might have one of those machines where you have to manually adjust the speed and you do a needle up/down by quickly turning it on/off. It all depends on what kind of controls it came with. Hopefully it has some sort of handle bars on the "nose" with a box that has a dial and a button or two. Post some more pictures and maybe we can tame this beast for you or contact Nustyle and see if they have some more detailed instructions. They may also have upgrades for it that will make your learning curve easier.
