Good morning fellow quilters. With all the many talented quilters from all over the world on this wonderful site, I'm sure there is someone out there that can help.
I'm looking for a pattern that would lend itself to an "ocean" or "sea" type quilt. One of my grand dgtrs will be moving to the TX gulf coast & is collecting material that will fit into her decorating ideas she plans to use. (Colors she feels will look good in a seaside home)
She will be here in town in a few months & wants me to help her 'learn' to make a quilt or couch throw (or even maybe a wall hanging to start.) Since this will be her 1st quilt it needs to be fairly basic - shes not into artsy, contemporary - she like country or the 'old' type designs.
