I'm getting my Xmas gift list ready so I can begin making them.
I'd like to make simple (unpieced) table runners and, using my machine embroidery, add free standing lace borders and also monograms in the center of the white fabric.
Has anyone made something similar?
What fabric would be good for the center?
I'm thinking damask would be too heavy and a tone on tone would interfere with the monogram.
Any suggestions or tips will be appreciated.
