I named this quilt ALMOST FREE, because it is from leftover scraps, the thread was even given to me. The flannel back was from a friend who was cleaning her closet and she really wasn't a sewer. The inner boarder was from my mom when she was moving and it was already fussy cut into the paisley strips. So the only fabric that I had to use from my stash was the the boarder fabric. Golly gee . . . that like having a almost free quilt. :mrgreen:
Dumb question, I was trying to figure out pattern...did you foundation piece diagonal squares then cut them apart in an "X" and seam together for that pattern? I really like it.
