I started this quilt for me but turned into a raffle quilt for the school I work for. It burnt to the ground on December 15, 2011. But last night at the raffle/auction it is estimated to have brought in over $1000.00. I was so excited and humbled.
Here are some pictures. I graphed out the pattern from a picture i took and then used Big Stitch quilting to give it a vintage/primitive look!
Beautiful quilt. I would have loved to have it myself. Question though, how could the school burn down on December 15, 2011??? Are you planning something we shouldn't know about. Just kidding, know you meant 2010.
