Bluteddi, how horrible! I pray you are not in any pain. When my son broke his arm 3 years ago, it was also his left. The school furnished him a laptop to record his assignments. What caused you to fall down the stairs? Sounds awful, but it could have been worse. Slow down, girlie! I'm sure you are sore all over today. And NO - that cast is not a weapon....altho it feels like one. WTG with the happy weigh in!

Tru, I agree with Sandy and this guy is having a good laugh at your expense. You are SO too good for him! You are not stupid. HE IS!!! Don't settle for this jerk. I agree with CarolJ - you are doing a fine job of beating yourself up. I'd be a bloody mess if someone beat the crap out of me everytime I made a poor judgement. Your learning experience will be remembered more than getting the crap stomped out of you. Be kinder to yourself. We love you!
Sandy, girl I feel for your terrible pain. What kind of pain meds are you on? I know you are counting the days until your surgery. Have you started your pre-surgery PT? Wish I were closer to help.
I have a personal question. Does anyone else take thyroid meds? My DR put me on Nature Throid last summer, told me it was ok to take with the other meds she had prescribed. DH started taking Synthroid; told to take alone on empty stomach. I thought I would take my thyroid meds alone, starting a couple of weeks ago. I "think" I am noticing better energy. Had planned to resume Turbo Fire, but my knee has swollen up from walking. I thought I could walk 15 minutes without my brace. I can, but it has consequences.
