Peggy, when you pick colours start with picking your darkest and lightest colour..you have to have 21 one different colours. So from there choose a little lighter colour than the dark colour and hold it up to the dark colour, then continue on all the way to the lightest colour.. Because I was making rainbow colour, I picke a dark purple, then the blue then green then yellow, then orange and then red.. I had each colour of material with me and then tried to pick a colour that would transition from one colour to the next.... sometime it had a bit of accent in the color in it so it would transition to the next... the other thing you can do is ask for a snippet of the material and glue it on a sheet and as you choose a colour, you glue it in place until you have 21 different colours
